Traditional software project management methods fix requirements in an effort to control time and cost; what we’ve learned after decades of building software is that requirements often need to change based on market conditions or the reality of the emerging system. Scrum allows organizations to shift requirements in a manner that does not disrupt the team.
Certified ScrumMaster Workshop: Beginning with the history of agile development and moving through the disciplines promoted by Scrum, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Scrum methodology while specifically reviewing the behaviors expected of a ScrumMaster. Upon completion of the workshop, participants are eligible to take the Certified ScrumMaster exam given by the ScrumAlliance. Participants who are PMPs (Project Management Professional) may claim 14 PDUs; the workshop also counts towards the new PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification.
Certified Scrum Product Owner Workshop: Participants will gain an understanding of the basic scrum principles and practices, but will move quickly into advanced Product Owner topics like product envisioning, roadmapping, epic scoring, managing stakeholders and backlogs, and scaling. Participants may claim 14 PDUs if they hold a PMP designation.
PMI- Agile Certified Practitioner Exam Preparation Course:
This course is designed to prepare learners for the Project Management Institutes' Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) exam by exploring the methodologies, practices, tools, and techniques that Agilists need to master to become proficient practitioners and to pass the test . Students in this course will increase their knowledge of Agile concepts with interactive exercises, best practice discussion, simulated quizzes, and real life case studies from experienced Agile practitioners. These applications of Agile practices will prepare learners for the PMI exam and will teach students how to successfully lead teams and complete Agile projects.
