2 Stacia Viscardi has been practicing project management since 1994 in both manufacturing and technical product development. Stacia holds her Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute and attained Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) status in November of 2005, as recognized by the ScrumAlliance. In September of 2008, Stacia co-authored and published The Software Project Manager’s Bridge to Agility (Addison-Wesley) and is a regular speaker at industry conferences. Stacia is a member of the Project Management Institute, the Agile Alliance and the ScrumAlliance. 

Stacia founded AgileEvolution, Inc. in December of 2006. Leveraging almost 20 years of project management expertise and a vast network of coaches and trainers, AgileEvolution has brought agile project principles and practices to 17 countries, more than twenty Fortune 500 companies, as well as various public sector entities and private startups.  stacia@agileevolution.com

 

12 Dr. Landaeta is an Associate Professor with Tenure in the department of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and an M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Central Florida. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UNITEC, Venezuela. He has provided management coaching, training, and consulting to Fortune 500 companies and large government organizations. Some of the organizations he has contributed to include the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Army Program Executive Office Soldier, The U.S. Army Core of Engineers, Siemens-Westinghouse Power Generation, Walt Disney World-Information Technology, NASA-Kennedy Space Center, The National Centers for Systems of Systems Engineering, The Institute of Simulation and Training, and the Industrialized Housing Partnership of the U.S. Department of Energy.

 

20 Steve Spearman has over 27 years of experience in software development including 20 years in a variety of leadership roles.  His most recent role was directing a team of 60 developers as part of Cisco Systems' IP Communication Business Unit.   Together with Heather Gray, he led the successful transition of their business unit's 40+ scrum teams to Agile over an 18 month period.   In addition to people leadership and change management, Steve has direct experience with software architecture, operations, and program management.
Steve has a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Computer Science.   His certifications include: PMP, PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), and CSP-Certified Scrum Professional. steve@agileevolution.com

 

19 Heather Gray has worked for the last 17+ years with software development teams in the Telecommunications and Medical Software industries.  Her most recent role was as a Senior Manager for Cisco Systems' IP Communication Business Unit where in addition to managing the Program Management Office, she also led the business units' transformation to Agile.  Her experience includes software testing, process development, regulatory audits, staff training and mentoring, new product introduction, and R&D management.  
Heather has spent the last few years practicing Agile concepts, training, identify agile transformation roadblocks, and leading large teams to overcome those roadblocks. She is passionate about Agile principles and concepts and raising awareness across the Software Development industry. She is also a Certified Scrum Master.
Heather received her Bachelors of Science degree in Bio-Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. She is married and has two children. hgray@agileevolution.com
