Dr. Landaeta holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and an M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Central Florida. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UNITEC, Venezuela. He has provided management coaching, training, and consulting to Fortune 500 companies and large government organizations.

Some of the organizations he has contributed to include the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Army Program Executive Office Soldier, The U.S. Army Core of Engineers, Siemens-Westinghouse Power Generation, Walt Disney World-Information Technology, NASA-Kennedy Space Center, The National Centers for Systems of Systems Engineering, The Institute of Simulation and Training, and the Industrialized Housing Partnership of the U.S. Department of Energy.

Steve Spearman

Steve Spearman has over 27 years of experience in software development including 20 years in a variety of leadership roles.  His most recent role was directing a team of 60 developers as part of Cisco Systems' IP Communication Business Unit.  

Together with Heather Gray, he led the successful transition of their business unit's 40+ scrum teams to Agile over an 18 month period.   In addition to people leadership and change management, Steve has direct experience with software architecture, operations, and program management.

Steve has a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Computer Science.   His certifications include: PMP, PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), and CSP-Certified Scrum Professional. steve@agileevolution.com


Heather Gray - Associate

Heather Gray

Heather Gray has worked for the last 17+ years with software development teams in the Telecommunications and Medical Software industries.  Her most recent role was as a Senior Manager for Cisco Systems' IP Communication Business Unit where in addition to managing the Program Management Office, she also led the business units' transformation to Agile.  Her experience includes software testing, process development, regulatory audits, staff training and mentoring, new product introduction, and R&D management.  

Heather has spent the last few years practicing Agile concepts, training, identify agile transformation roadblocks, and leading large teams to overcome those roadblocks.

She is passionate about Agile principles and concepts and raising awareness across the Software Development industry. She is also a Certified Scrum Master.
Heather received her Bachelors of Science degree in Bio-Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. She is married and has two children. hgray@agileevolution.com

Masa Maeda is a recognized figure in in the Lean and Agile communities who continuously contributes with new knowledge. He is known for bringing highly successful Kanban and Agile adoptions internationally inside and outside the software and IT industries. Masa is also a highly respected lean-agile-kanban-scrum trainer. He is one of just a few Kanban Trainer-Coaches accredited by the Lean-Kanban University worldwide, and the only one who also speaks Spanish. He is also a PMI-ACP, a CSPO and a CSM.

Masa is the founder and principal consultant of Valueinnova; a senior consultant with the Cutter Consortium agile practice where he started the consortium’s Kanban service; the founder of the Bay Area Limited WIP Society; a cofounder of the Mexico and Panama chapters of the Agile Leadership Network; a contributing lean–agile editor for the San Francisco chapter of the PMI; and the lean–agile editor for the Software Guru magazine.
